About YEAH8 Arts & Motion

The history of YEAH8 Arts & Motion Enrichment Program is a community based organization that was formed in 2010. The organization is a youth & young adult organization that encourages all who participate in the program with access to the latest developments in technology, STEM Curriculum, and reading.

The staff and volunteers are former educators, community activists, parents, and prevention / intervention specialists who have come together for the purpose of bridging the gap between young people and the adults who love them. YEAH8 Arts & Motion Enrichment Programs are designed to create innovative programming to connect with disadvantaged youth through arts integration and physical education, a multi-dimensional learning program, and life skills throughout the academic year and summer months.

This approach builds a unique platform for balanced growth through intellectual, emotional, social, physical grounding and functioning. We also provide information about abstinence, teen pregnancy and births, or associated sexual outcome behavior, along with healthy living and nutrition in the efforts to reduce juvenile diabetes and reducing risk factors for obesity related chronic diseases.
